Description
The 2021 gold Completer Coin is the eleventh and final coin in the highly popular Queen’s Beasts Collection. Each coin contains one troy ounce of 999.9 fine gold, and is struck to The Royal Mint’s bullion standard.
When Her Majesty The Queen was crowned in 1953, the entrance to Westminster Abbey was guarded by ten fantastical creatures, The Queen's Beasts. The Completer Coin features all ten of these Beasts in one unique design, united in a protective circle around Her Majesty The Queen. Each coin in the series is inspired by the ancestral beasts of heraldry, myth and legend that have watched over The Queen throughout her extraordinary reign.
The obverse features the artist’s definitive coinage portrait of Her Majesty and together, these designs are a fitting tribute to complete this iconic collection.
This coin is exempt from both Capital Gains Tax and VAT, making it a popular choice amongst UK investors.
