The 2022 1oz silver Britannia coin is struck in 999.0 fine silver and issued by The Royal Mint. This latest evolution of an icon keeps Philip Nathan’s acclaimed interpretation of Britannia with four groundbreaking security features, creating the most visually secure bullion coin in the world.

The obverse bears Her Majesty The Queen's portrait, as created by Jody Clark and introduced in 2015. The Queen is wearing the King George IV State Diadem - the crown worn for the State Opening of Parliament - as well as special Diamond Jubilee drop pearl earrings.
